Judgement - by: LoveliEsteem

Judgement (noun) [ˈjəjmənt]

Judgment is an important quality to have, as it allows us to make decisions based on facts and logic rather than our emotions. It helps us to look at a situation objectively, weigh the pros and cons, and come to a conclusion that is in our best interests. Having good judgment also requires us to be aware of our own biases and prejudices, and to recognize when they may be clouding our judgment.

7 ways to judge a situation correctly

  • Get all the facts first. Make sure to ask questions and do your research.

  • Consider the context. What is the current situation? What are the consequences for making a decision?

  • Consider the perspectives of those involved. Everyone may have a different opinion about the situation, so it's important to be open-minded.

  • Listen to your intuition. We all have an inner sense that can help us make wise decisions.

  • Think long-term. While it is important to consider the immediate consequences of a decision, it is also important to consider the long-term impacts.

  • Look for patterns. Is there something similar happening in other situations?

  • Seek advice from trusted sources. Do not be afraid to ask for help or advice. Talking through a situation with someone you trust can help you make a more informed decision.

Judgement is not always wrong. Judging a situation can save your life, a friendship or help promote you too the next level. So, the next time you start to judge a situation, take a moment to figure out if your it's your feelings or logic doing the judging. Loveli xoxo
